During March 2006, in conjunction with Daytona Bike Week, Matthew Linton had a major show at the DeLand Museum of Art in DeLand, Florida. The exhibition opened with a large-scale fundraiser for the museum. Bands played, libations flowed, and big names like Arlen Ness, Chris Cruz, Hank Young, and Cyril Huze mixed with other big wigs from major motorcycle magazines and members of the industry elite. The opening was a weekend long event with parties Friday and Saturday and poker runs and other events both Saturday and Sunday.
